Het Bahá'í-geloof wordt beschouwd als de jongste wereldgodsdienst. Het geloof is oorspronkelijk – in 1844 – ontstaan in Iran. Thans is het na het christendom geografisch de meest verspreide godsdienst ter wereld. Centraal thema in het geloof is wereldeenheid. Wereldwijd zijn er naar schatting ruim vijf miljoen bahá'ís.
